What solves many problems but also creates many others?
What gets one to the top but also makes one hit rock bottom?
Oh, money and power.
They can buy materials, but can't buy taste.
They can buy representation, but can't buy dignity.
They can buy authority, but can't buy respect.
They can buy orders, but can't buy virtue.
They can buy achievements, but can't buy fulfillment.
They can buy many things and so we are after them. They are potent, but not the most potent.
As Zig Ziglar once said, "The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for." Focus on practicing gratitude every day, as it is the most potent force that will give you a life that is so rich that even money and power cannot buy.
Stay grounded, adapt to change, but build your core values to be unshakable in this ever-changing life. May we never forget our roots, our people, who we once were, what makes us who we are now, and how grateful we are for what we have.
